RN or LPN - Laurel Fork, VA
RN or LPN full-time opening at the Tri-Area Community Health Center in Laurel Fork. Medical office experience and experience with EMR a plus. Qualified Candidate must be self-confident, a fast learner with active listening, and strong communication skills. Candidate must be willing to work as a team member of a multidisciplinary team. Current Virginia nursing license required. This position has the potential for a four day work week. Pay is based on experience and education.

Clinic Billing Coder
Tri-Area Community Health is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Clinic Billing Coder to join our growing team. This full-time position supports both medical and behavioral health services, ensuring accurate coding and compliance across patient encounters.
Position Summary
The Clinic Billing Coder is responsible for assigning accurate diagnostic and procedural codes for medical and behavioral health encounters. This role works closely with providers and the Accounts Receivable team to ensure proper documentation, compliance, and timely reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing requirements
- Proficiency in medical terminology and human anatomy
- General understanding of claim processing and denial management
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Associate Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of medical coding experience
- Professional coding certification (CPC, CCS, or COC)
- Experience with FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) billing
- Experience coding behavioral health services
- Knowledge of both professional and institutional billing
