Our Trillium Award Winner and Nominees!
Like the native trillium flower that blooms in the Blue Ridge Mountains and signals the arrival of spring and renewal in our mountain communities, our Trillium Award recipients bring hope, healing, and positive transformation to those they serve.
Each week on Trillium Tuesday we will highlight one of the nominees for this quarter!
Brittany Butler is a Physician’s Assistant at the Ferrum Clinic, and has been with Tri-Area for 7 years. “She has been exceptionally caring as I’ve been going through a very difficult time. I would highly recommend her to anyone.”
Takesha Moore is the Pharmacist in Charge at the Ferrum Pharmacy. She has been with Tri-Area for 5.5 years. “She consistently exemplifies exceptional patient care in her role as a community pharmacist.”
Beth Vaughan is a social worker/case manager and has been with Tri-Area for 1 year. “She has no problem volunteering to help anyone whether it is with words of encouragement, recognizing people for their accomplishments, or assisting with services with the company or outside resources.”
Jenell Joines is the Family Nurse Practitioner at the Galax School-Based Clinic. She has been with Tri-Area for 2.5 years. “Rearranged her time and took on doing a whole lot of sports physicals to help us out.”
Tiffany Bedwell is an Insurance Specialist located at our Fries office. She has been with Tri-Area for 4 years. “Tiffany B jumped right in to do the prior auths for our Dietitian and was willing to learn all the different ways to do it. She is doing a great job!
Annette Garrett is a Pharmacy Technician at the Fries Pharmacy. She has been with Tri-Area for 3 years. “She is always very helpful if I have a question about a medication & explains things very well. She’s always very friendly!”
We are excited to announce Donna Gibson, FNP-C as the winner of the June 2026 Trillium Award. Donna is a Family Nurse Practitioner at our Laurel Fork and Carroll County High School clinics. She has been with Tri-Area Community Health for 11 years. Donna was announced as the recipient on June 19th, 2026 during the Employee Appreciation Day held at Floyd Family Campground.
